Meet Me at the Park $20,000 Grant Opportunity

For the third year, the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is collaborating with The Walt Disney Company on the Meet Me at the Parkinitiative to provide 16 communities with a $20,000 grant to improve local parks.

As part of the initiative, one of those 16 communities will be selected through a nomination process. Starting April 1, the public can nominate their city every day through the online voting website. The city with the most nominations will be the winner. To help you engage your community for support, NRPA has provided a toolkit with tips, suggestions, photos, social media and messaging. The winning city will choose a local park in their district to receive the $20,000 grant for a park improvement project or program that connects youth to nature, increases youth’s access to sports, and/or inspires healthy living within the grant period of May to September.
